The Sennheiser HD650 can produce powerful bass and clear audio at all listening levels, without distortion and is capable of producing 103 dB of sound compared to the Beyerdynamic DT 880 Pro which can produce 96 dB of sound. Due to the circumaural design of the ear cups on both models, it limits the sounds leaking through the ear cups, giving you a more immersive experience.

Compatibility

While both sets of headphones can be used with portable devices, such as phones and laptops, the high impedance on both models will mean your sound quality won’t be as high without the use of an amp.
Recommendation
After looking at the main features of both the Beyerdynamic DT 880 Pro and the Sennheiser HD650 we think the better headphones are the Beyerdynamic DT 880 Pro.
