The Brother XL2600i is a boost up from the Brother LS2125i. It features 25 built-in stitches. This includes quilting, decorative, utility and heirloom type stitches. Similar to the Brother LS2125i, there are also multiple stitch functions on this machine.
Dimensions of the Sewing Machine
The Brother LS2125i is lightweight, weighing only 13 lbs. This makes it easy to move around, perfect for small living quarters. Its size of 11.54” x 6.14” x 14.84” also makes it easy to fit on almost any work space.
The Brother XL2600i is even smaller than the Brother LS2125i! It weighs only 11 lbs. and has an overall dimension of 12.26” x 7.73” x 9.6”.

The Brother LS2125i has a dial switch selector making it easy to switch between different stitches. It can produce 900 stitches per minute and stitches a maximum of 5mm in width and 7mm in length.
The Brother XL2600i also has the dial selector for stitches but has a 800 stitches per minute speed. The maximum stitch length and width is also smaller than the Brother LS2125i, with a maximum width of 4mm and the maximum length 5mm.
However, a bonus for both machines is that they both include a 25 year limited warranty! So go crazy and start sewing away!
Overall Product Recommendation
After reviewing both Brother machines, I think the overall recommendation would have to be for the Brother XL2600i. Even though it produces smaller stitches it has three selling points that the Brother LS2125i.They are:
- There are way more built-in stitch options;
- It comes with more than double the included accessories and accessory feet; and
- The overall dimensions are smaller, making it a good option for small living arrangements
There you have it! While both Brother machines are a fantastic choice, the overall recommendation is the Brother XL6200i.
