Safety Features

The Instant Pot IP-DUO60 is ULC and UL certified. It features a 3-ply stainless steel bottom and stainless steel steam rack for the ability to with handle high temperatures. Finally, there are noted to be 10 safety mechanisms built into this pressure cooker.
The Power Pressure Cooker XL has some of the standard safety features on a pressure cooker. In addition to a viewable digital timer, there is also a safe-lock lid with steam release valve for safe cooking and canning.
