Netgear is a reliable company to shop for routers for. Their products are reliable and durable. If you are looking to purchase a new WiFi router, consider looking at these two models:
Netgear N750 and N900.
Looking at these four categories, we were able to determine an overall product recommendation between the two. The four categories are: range and bandwidth, dimensions, ports and key features.
Range and Bandwidth
The Netgear N750’s range is meant to accommodate a medium to large home. The bandwidth for this model is a simultaneous dual band, 2.4GHz and 5GHz.
The N900’s range and bandwidth are the same as Netgear N750’s. Aimed at medium to large houses and has simultaneous dual band at 2.4GHz and 5GHz.
Dimensions
While dimensions are not a major selling point to some people, other people value the footprint a router makes in the home. Both these models are space-saving options.
The Netgear N750 does not take up much space, seeing as it is a very narrow model. The dimensions are 9.21” x 5.86” x 2.99”.
The N900 is larger, with dimensions set at 10.15” x 6.79” x 3.18”. The extra size comes from an additional USB 2.0 port.
Ports
Ethernet ports and USB ports can make or break a purchase for a router. Both these models provide ample amounts of ports.
The Netgear N750 features one USB 2.0 port and five Gigabit Ethernet ports. The Gigabit Ethernet ports even include auto-sensing technology.
The N900 is a step up from the Netgear N750, featuring two USB 2.0 ports. It does have the same five Gigabit Ethernet ports with auto-sensing technology though.

Some of the key features worth looking at for the Netgear N750 are:

Overall Product Recommendation
Looking at these two models, it is difficult to decide which should be the recommended product. If you are an average user with a lot of devices to attach, the N900 is the way to go. The WiFi is faster and there is an additional USB 2.0 port.
If you are looking to play video games the recommendation is more difficult. While the N900 has a higher WiFi speed, the Netgear 750 has DMZ to allow secure gaming.
