The Audioengine A2+ speakers are a two speaker system that is great for computer audio. While the speakers are designed to plug in to your desktop, the sound is powerful enough to fill any average size room.

The Audioengine A2+ speakers have a USB audio input as well as variable audio output. The speakers come with a power-saving idle mode.

The Audioengine A5+ is also a two speaker system, but unlike the A2, it has a remote control.
Sound
The speakers for the Audioengine A2+ system have custom 2.5 inch Kevlar woofers as well as ¾ inch silk dome tweeters.
The power output for the Audioengine A2+ is 60 Watts.
The Audioengine A5+ has 5 inch Kevlar woofers that have advance voice coils and ¾ inch silk dome tweeters that have neodymium magnets.

The Audioengine A2+ speakers measure 6 inches x 4 inches x 5.3 inches each and weigh just over 3 pounds.

Included in the purchase of the Audioengine A2+ are the right and left speaker as well as a 2 meter long speaker wire. There is a power supply along with an AC power cord.
There is a mini-jack audio cable and a USB cable, both which measure 1.5 meters.
As an added bonus there are microfiber speaker bags as well as a microfiber power supply bag and a microfiber cable bag.
The Audioengine A5+ system, which is produced from the same company included just about everything that the Audioengine A2+ system has. There are left and right speakers but also a remote control.
The speaker wire is 3.75 meters long and there is also a detachable power cord. The Audioengine A5+ comes with a mini-jack audio cable and an RCA to RCA audio cable, both 2 meters long.
As with the Audioengine A2+ system, the Audioengine A5+ supplies you with microfiber cloth bags for your speakers and cables.
