Both of these models are temperature tested and aircraft certified. They also both have five-point harness systems and energy absorbing foam.
Some of the safety features that the SecureKid has that Evenflo Maestro doesn’t include a SureLATCH connectors system, e3 side Impact Protection, and is considered an IIHS (Insurance Institute for Highway Safety) best bet booster seat.
Average Consumer Rating
The Evenflo Maestro receives an average consumer rating of 4.4 out of 5 stars. Many consumers enjoy how easy it is to strap in a child, no matter if it’s a parent or a grandparent strapping them in.
The SecureKid receives a slightly higher average consumer rating of 4.5 out of 5 stars. Many consumers enjoy this car seat because of the independence it gives their children to be able to buckle themselves into the booster seats.

Even though the SecureKid only has two color options (and to be more specific, two options on the grey scale.. no color included…) it still receives the overall product recommendation. The safety features included on the SecureKid that are not on the Evenflo Maestro make it a worthwhile purchase. You can’t put a price on safety when it comes to your children.
