For the bobbin system, the Janome Magnolia 7318 sewing machine has a push-pull system. It is top loading and jam proof.

The Janome 7330x sewing machine is a step above the Janome Magnolia 7318 because it has a built in needle threader and a speed control slider.
What also make the Janome 7330x an advanced sewing machine is its auto start-stop. This means that you no longer have to rely on a foot pedal for your stitches, which is not always reliable.
Recommendation
The Janome 7330x sewing machine is made for advanced sewers while the Janome Magnolia 7318 machine is made for basic sewers. If you are looking to purchase a sewing machine to hem pants or make curtains, then the Janome Magnolia 7318 is just fine.
If your sewing projects include fancier materials or decorative stitches, then invest in the Janome 7330x as its features will meet your needs.
