Both the Logitech LS21 and the Logitech Z323 are three piece speaker sets with two satellite speakers and a separate subwoofer in each set. The Logitech Z323 subwoofer measures 8.9 by 5.5 by 8.5 inches compared to the Logitech LS21 subwoofer that measures 8.4 by 5.5 by 7 inches, so both are compact in size.
The satellite speakers on the Logitech LS21 measure 3.4 by 5.8 by 3.2 inches compared to the speakers on the Logitech Z323 which measure 8.7 by 3.4 by 4.5 inches.
Audio
The Logitech Z323 has a combined power of 30 watts, with each speaker having 6 watts and the subwoofer having 18 watts. The Logitech LS21 has less power with the subwoofer having 4 watts of output power and each satellite speaker having 1.5 watts.
The Logitech Z323 will give you more powerful bass and be capable of higher volumes with less distortion than you might experience with the Logitech LS21. The Logitech Z323 produces more of a surround sound despite being a stereo system as the sound is allowed to escape through the back of the speaker as well as the front.
Features
The Logitech Z323 has a volume control dial on the front of one of the speakers as well as a bass volume control on the back of the subwoofer. The Logitech LS21 has the benefit of a remote control which is attached by a cable and also has a handy headphone jack.
The Logitech Z323 has a headphone jack in the side of one of the satellite speakers so you can easily switch to personal listening if you need to. Both models are ideal for sitting beside a computer due to their compact size, and their stylish appearance will blend in with your other gadgets.
Compatibility
Both the Logitech LS21 and the Logitech Z323 are ideal for using with laptops and desktop computers and their smaller size makes them portable enough to move around to be used with other devices. The audio quality from both models is good for listening to music but is also great for watching movies and gaming.
Both speaker sets are ready to be plugged in to most of your audio devices and will work well with televisions and blu-ray players. Each of the models will also work well with phones and tablets, giving you an amplified sound from all of your gadgets.
Recommendation
After analyzing the features of both the Logitech LS21 and the Logitech Z323 we think they are both very good quality for their prices but the Logitech Z323 just has the edge over the Logitech LS21. The Logitech Z323 is capable of louder and more powerful audio, including adjustable bass.
The Logitech LS21 is still a good choice if you’re looking for a great value speaker set.
