Overall Product Recommendation
Since Remington manufactured both the Remington mb4040 and the mb200 they both have similar features to one another. This can make it difficult to choose one over the other.
However, the Remington mb4040 is the upgraded model from the mb200. It has the same great features, such as self-sharping and self-oiling blades, that the mb200 does.
The weight difference between the Remington mb4040 and the mb200 was also a defining factor. The Remington mb4040 is significantly smaller and lighter than the mb200, making easier to maneuver and use for a longer duration of time.
One thing that is commendable about the mb200 that the Remington mb4040 doesn’t have is the LED charge indicator light. This is a great feature that would help you know when the groomer is fully charged if you were in a hurry. It would have been nice to see this feature carried over to the Remington mb4040.
