Let’s face it – People are busy! Whether it’s running to the store, checking the weather, or chasing kids all over town for various sporting events, you need a phone that can keep up with you.
A phone that is durable, fast, easy to use and has an amazing list of features are top qualities that are researched when purchasing a new phone. To help make things easier for you as the consumer, we’ll take a look at the Blu Studio 6.0 and the Samsung Galaxy s5.
Durability
Durability – whether or not you can drop your phone, run over it, or other means of almost destroying your phone accidentally – is one of the top concerns of people purchasing new phones.
The Blu Studio doesn’t feature a lot of information about the durability of the phone itself. It does have an easy-to-remove back that allows quick access to the SIM card and other portions of the phone.
The Samsung Galaxy s5, on the other hand, flaunts their dust & water resistance. It is certified with an IP67 certification. This means that it is resistant to liquids (including sweat for those runners) and dust (or sand for the beach going folks).
Speed
The need for speed is essential in this instant gratification society. Both phones have a good amount of speed in their processors.
The Blu Studio features a 1.3 GHz Quad-core Processor. It runs the Android 4.2 “Jelly Bean” processor straight out of the box. It is upgradable to “Kit Kat” operating system.
The Galaxy s5, out of the box, runs Android 4.4.2 “Kit Kat” operating system. It also boasts a 2.5GHz Quad core application processor.
Ease of Use (Consumer Friendly)
In order to determine the ease of use we looked at product reviews. What better way than to see what people say about it!
The Blu Studio 6.0 has great reviews about it being easy to use and completely user friendly right out of the box. The volume buttons are located on the left side and the home button on the bottom of the phone. The location of these buttons make it easy to use the phone one-handed.
The major overall complaint for the Blu Studio 6.0 is the connection between the phone and the charger. The connection is not always strong so sometimes you will think your phone is charging…. But it’s not and then your phone is dead when you need it.
The Galaxy s5 is highly reviewed as being user friendly. The large screen size, fast camera “shutter” speed, and responsiveness a common themes in the reviews offered.
