The ac2350 has an increased combined speed of 600 + 1733 Mbps. It also features a 802.11 ac dual band gigabit, but an increased dual core processor to 1.5 GHz.
Sharing Options
Both the Netgear nighthawk ac1900 and the ac2350 have ReadySHARE features, including ReadyCLOUD, ReadySHARE valut, ReadySHARE print and DLNA.
However, the Netgear nighthawk ac1900 has additional share features that the ac2350 does not, aimed towards MAC and Apple products. This model is compatible with iTunes and features Time Machine.
Hardware
The Netgear nighthawk ac1900 has three external antennas. It features five ports, broken down into one WAN port and four LAN ports. It also has two USB ports. One USB port is 2.0, the other is 3.0. This model also features Push ‘N’ Connect.
The ac2350 model has four external antennas but features the fame five ports. It does, however, have two 3.0 USB ports and eSATA ports. The ac2350 also features Push ‘N’ Connect for easy use.
Defining Features
With these two models being so close, it’s worthwhile to list out the defining features that each model uniquely offers that the other model doesn’t.
The Netgear nighthawk ac1900 has these defining features:
- Airtime fairness for when slower devices connect
- MAC and Apple compatibility for sharing features
The ac1900 has these defining features:

- Ability to schedule automatic backups for PC’s only
Overall Product Recommendation
The overall product recommendation is difficult for these two models. They are incredibly close, and both would make wonderful wireless routers to have in your house.

If you use a PC or non-apple products then the ac2350. This machine is not compatible with MAC computers, itunes and does not feature Time Machine.
However, if you use both, then we would give the overall product recommendation to the ac2350. It features faster speeds, a higher dual core processor and better input connections with two 3.0 USB ports and eSATA ports. The dynamic QoS X4 architecture would make this product the worthwhile recommendation for a user who isn’t limited by the type of computer they are wanting to use with the sharing products.
