What’s Included
The Bob Revolution Flex and the Bob Revolution SE are middle of the road strollers and don’t come with any extra accessories. They both have a mesh basket under the seat, and while it does hold some items, is not as roomy as other stroller brands.
Both the Bob Revolution Flex and the Bob Revolution SE have an easy to use accessory adaptor. You can purchase a number of accessory bars that plug into holes on either side of the stroller.
The accessory bars include a snack tray or a car seat adaptor bar.
The Bob Revolution Flex and the Bob Revolution SE also include a canopy cover. It has multiple positions to protect your child from sun or rain.
For maximum weather protection you can purchase an additional rain cover or sun shield.
Safety
Both the Bob Revolution Flex and the Bob Revolution SE are strollers built for newborns to toddlers. However, newborns would be most comfortable in a car seat which can easily be clicked into the stroller.
The Bob Revolution Flex and the Bob Revolution SE have a padded, 5 point harness to lock your child in securely. The straps are adjustable to meet the growing needs of your child.
Terrain
The Bob Revolution Flex and the Bob Revolution SE are both considered jogging strollers. They each have three larger wheels which means you can go from the city to the country comfortably.
The wheels are rubber and can be inflated, so no need to replace them if they go flat.
Both the Bob Revolution Flex and the Bob Revolution SE maneuver easily.
Adjustability
This is the one area that the Bob Revolution Flex and the Bob Revolution SE differ in.
The Bob Revolution Flex offers an adjustable, padded handlebar with 9 different position options. The Bob Revolution SE cannot adjust its handlebar and is set for the average height of a caregiver.
The Bob Revolution Flex and the Bob Revolution SE are similar, however in that they both offer an adjustable, reclining seat for your child. You can pull on straps to increase or decrease the incline of your child’s seat, even if they are sitting in it. This is especially nice if your child falls asleep and you want to provide a reclining seat for his comfort.
Recommendation
The bottom line is that the Bob Revolution Flex is more flexible.
If you are someone who is larger or smaller and have found in the past that stroller handles do not fit comfortably, then go with the Flex. If, however, you have never had an issue with handle height, then the Bob Revolution SE will do you just fine.
