Both the Chicco Liteway and the Chicco Echo come with an adjustable canopy that sits over your child’s head. Both canopies have peek a boo windows so that you can still see your child, even when the canopy is fully engaged.
On both the Chicco Liteway and the Chicco Echo there are storage baskets that sit under the seat of the stroller. They are both mesh and offer some space to store your possessions.
The Chicco Liteway has the added bonus that it comes standard with a cupholder for parents to use while pushing their stroller, however it is not the best construction and has often fallen off of the stroller handle.
Safety
The Chicco Liteway stroller and the Chicco Echo stroller are meant for children from birth to 40 pounds. However, most newborns need added protection in a stroller, so you might want to invest in a newborn insert for either model.
Both the Chicco Liteway and the Chicco Echo have a 5 point harness with padded shoulder straps to keep your child secure.
The Chicco Liteway boasts rear wheel suspension and brakes that you lock with your feet to help keep your ride safe.
The Chicco Echo, too, has locking swivel wheels.
Terrain
The Chicco Liteway Stroller and the Chicco Echo stroller are compact, umbrella type strollers. They are meant for small journeys either inside or on smooth terrain.
The wheels of both the Chicco Liteway and the Chicco Echo are small and plastic. While they are easily maneuverable they are not made for trails or bumpy surfaces.
Adjustability
The Chicco Liteway and the Chicco Echo strollers are lightweight and adjustable which makes them easy to fold up and go. They can easily be transported into a car or storage area.
The seats on both the Chicco Liteway and the Chicco Echo have multiple reclining positions so that if your child falls asleep they can still be comfortable.
While the Chicco Liteway is meant to accommodate children up to 40 pounds, if your child is taller, the straps may be a bit snug. Many people reported not being able to buckle up the waist straps.

While the Chicco Liteway stroller and the Chicco Echo stroller are very similar models, the Chicco Liteway is a bit more durable and better made. The construction of the canopy and the seat fabric are more durable than the Echo.
While the Chicco Echo is a perfectly good, light weight stroller, by paying a bit more for the Chicco Liteway you can have a better experience with your child.
