How do you know which one is best? We’ve analyzed the features of each of the models to help you get a better idea of which one will work best for you.
Cleaning
Both the 67601 and the 67650 come with handy cleaning brushes that have soft micro bristles that will make cleaning the strainer basket a lot easier.
The removable parts on both of the juicers are plastic and can be washed in a dishwasher for extra convenience and the only part that is not dishwasher safe is the motor base. Both juicers have an average clean up time of 5 minutes if cleaned by hand.
Fast Juicing
The 67601 and the 67650 both have extra large pulp bins compared to other juicers, meaning you can juice more fruit without having to empty the pulp bin as often. They also both have stainless steel cutters that effectively and quickly separate the juice from the pulp.
Each model features a 3 inch feed tube, meaning you can juice whole fruits without needing to chop them first. The 67650 comes with a 20 ounce container so you can juice and serve straight away, compared to the 67601 which doesn’t.
Quality Features
Both the 67601 and the 67650 are similar in appearance and both have a powerful 800 watt motor to juice tough fruits and vegetables. They also both have convenient juice spouts so you can easily fill up a variety of sizes of containers.
The 67650 benefits from having a more professional on/off toggle switch compared to the turn dial switch on the 67601 model. The 67650 features strong metal locking clips, ensuring the juicer is secure during operation, whereas the 67601 has plastic locking clips.
Ease of Use
Both models are easy to use and don’t require a lot of preparation. The large pulp bins on both the 67650 and the 67601 collect a lot of pulp on certain softer fruits but can easily be put back through the juicer to extract more of the juice.
The assembling of both of the juicers is very similar and neither require a lot of work or technical knowledge. Most people even manage to assemble the juicers without needing the instructions, so it’s pretty straightforward and quick.
Recommendation
After looking at the features of both the Hamilton Beach 67601 and the 67650 we think the best juicer is the 67650. It has more features than the 67601 and seems to be a little more professional, with its higher quality switch and metal components.
The 67650 is around $10 more expensive than the 67601 but you get a bit more for your money. With both models being the same size, the benefits you get with the 67650, such as the juicing container, are well worth the extra $10.
