Defining Features
A few of the defining features that separate the Singer 7258 and the 7256 are the additional features of the Singer 7258. The Singer 7258 gives you the option to sew without the foot control through start/stop button options and speed control.
In addition, the Singer 7258 has automatic presser foot pressure and twin needle capacity for special projects.
Overall Product Recommendation
Since these two models are so incredibly close, it is difficult to pick one over the other. However, the four extra foot options in the included accessories is one of the person of choosing the Singer 7258 as the overall recommended product.
While the four extra foot option was a bonus, the real reason that the Singer 7258 receives the overall product recommendation is because of its ability to work without a foot pedal. This can open the door for people who are unable to use their feet to be able to sew. To be able to offer someone the ability to sew when they didn’t think it was possible is an automatic show winner!
